ABOUT & MISSION

PERFORM PERFORM:

• is a non-profit association consisting of curators from different Swiss regions and art fields.

• likes to travel and to explore other places.

• supports artists by making their art public, proposing inclusive spaces as well as paying the artists for their work. 

• provides a platform for national and international networking via exhibitions, festivals, workshops and as well as discourse about socially relevant topics. 

• creates a performative act by intersecting transdisciplinary art practices. 

• makes art accessible to audiences in non-conformist spaces.

• encourages the opening of the “regional art bubble”, by mixing different regions and languages in Switzerland.

PERFORM PERFORM was founded on 13th of January 2016 in Fribourg by Nathalie Stirnimann, Olivia Jaques, Manuela Luterbacher, Lea-Marie d'Avigneau and Elsa Piller.

The old website was about the beginning of PERFORM PERFORM  and mainly about the festival in summer 2016 in Bad Bonn Düdingen (Fribourg / CH). With the team change we also wanted to change our appearance, the content and work of PERFORM PERFORM. Thank you for the trust!
